Twisted Summary

Twisted was a very confusing but interesting book. This book has many conflict, it has self vs self and man vs. man. The main character of this book Tyler. He has a sister. a mom and dad. Tyler has an average difunctional family. His dad is very strict on him and his mother has the first stages of being an alcoholic. I really liked the titled of the book "Twisted" because it really explains the book and fits the story perfectly.
Tyler began as a nobody. No one noticed him and no one knew him. It wasn't long until he tagged swear words and thing about the principle in spray paint. As he did that he was angry, and crazy, explaining later on in the book. Unfortunately Tyler a a tad to late so the police was able to arrest in at the scene. He had to do community service throughout his summer break. As soon as Tyler came back to school, everyone knew him instantly. The bad boy and the rebel. Finally everyone noticed him, especially his biggest crush Bethany. But it still didn't work out because Bethany's older brother Chip, has been Tyler's bully and arch enemy. This has been a continuous struggle for Tyler, and it seems as it will never end for Tyler. Throughout the book everything seems to work out but then suddenly goes back to the worst. It is a constant roller coaster for Tyler, for example when Tyler had his first chance with Bethany to meet her at a football game and maybe later hangout, Tyler's father had to ruin it by not letting Tyler go due to some attitude and disrespect. It was a hard battle for Tyler to keep up because with what was going on in his family to what was going on at school was too much for him. I really admired how hard Tyler tried to make things right. Thats why, at the end the the book everything had it's way of working out, and had a clever ending. Although a few disappointing point in the book, this book really made you think. Overall this book had many murals and lessons.
